What is a Blunt?
For several years now, within the cannabis world, we have seen and heard more and more about blunts. This tobacco leaf, which is used to make marijuana cigarettes, has a very particular smell. Once we feel this aroma we can easily recognize each time someone is smoking a blunt around us.
Originally, tobacco leaf smokers disassembled cigars or small tobacco leaf cigarettes and removed their contents to fill them with cannabis. Seeing the increase in the use of this format, especially in the United States, the production of only the ready-to-fill tobacco leaf became popular.
Today, we can find ready-to-build blunts in various smoke and head shops. The name blunt comes from a brand of cigarettes called Phillies Blunt.
How to roll a blunt?
STEP 1: Grind the marijuana
Grind the marijuana as finely and evenly as possible so that the blunt burns proportionally. If we chop with hand and scissors, the blunt will burn slowly. While rolling a blunt it is best to use producing strains, such as the Dealer Deal.
STEP 2: Select the wrapper
Thanks to the increase in the consumption of this format, there are already several different flavors that the consumer can choose from, such as honey, mint, and others.
STEP 3: Tear off the wrapper
Once the packages are opened, we are going to remove the blunt that contains a small plastic to preserve its cylindrical shape. We remove the plastic and open the tobacco leaf carefully so that it does not break.
STEP 4: Dampen the wrap
To be able to handle the tobacco leaf, it is best to moisten your fingers with a little water to work it calmly and avoid breaking.
STEP 5: Place the marijuana in the wrapper
We already have the chopped marijuana and we will place it inside the wrapper.
STEP 6: Roll up your blunt
This is the most delicate part since we have to manage to assemble the cigar and do it carefully to preserve the state of the leaf. Roll like a normal marijuana cigarette but with more delicacy.
STEP 7: Seal your blunt
Unlike rolling papers, blunt has no glue. For this reason, we are going to moisten the blade a little and leave aside the end with the already rolled cigarette. It sticks perfectly if the sheet is properly moistened.
STEP 8: Power up and enjoy your blunt
Now is the time to enjoy the flavors and the unique print run of this format.
A blunt is a natural tobacco leaf, which, unlike the rolling papers we are used to, does not have glues, colorants, or additives. On the other hand, by smoking a tobacco leaf we are smoking tobacco. For users who do not want to mix tobacco with marijuana or who prefer to avoid tobacco in all its forms, it is not recommended that they use this packaging format.
